To me respect is very important. I might not have respect for others peoples opinions if they’re nonsense, but if some one makes a valid point then I will most definitely agree with them. But if they don’t make sense I’m going to put my input in if I feel very strongly about it. To me respect is when you can say something and people won’t comment on it because they care enough to not be rude. Respect can be shown in many ways, one very common way respect is shown is by simply clapping your hands when someone’s done talking. It shows you listened and care about what that person said. I respect certain people, if they’re nice and they are an all around great person and kind to other. I respect that , if they don’t care about people and bash take them or they’re rude cause of things they like then I lose all respect for the. That’s where I draw the line, people can have different interest. But if they’re annoying and obnoxious about it then that’s when I just stop listening to them because I don’t respect what they’re saying. I personally think everyone deserves at least a little respect but if they’re mean to you and doesn’t respect you then I don’t respect that person anymore.
ReplyDeleteI think respect is important because if you have no respect no one will like you to be their friend. I think respect is when you are nice to a person and you also agree with what you say. I would be nice and respectful to my friends and others. I always respect people until they are mean or do not respect me. I think you need to earn respect before it is given to make sure you are not mean to me and so I make sure you will respect me too.

DeleteRespect is one of the most valuable attributes to your personality and could easily make or break a good friendship. Respect has to be given to everyone to not just show common curtsy, but to brighten someone else's day. Something as simple as holding a door or something as easy as a smile can show respect and can show someone that you really care. Respecting your peers should be a must when you wake up in the morning. No one wants to be greeted by a frown and bad breath in the morning. People want a nice bright smile with a hug and some inspiration to help them get through the day. I would totally agree with my girl Svenson. If someone's opinion in totally Ludacris then I could understand them getting LESS respect then the people who you do agree with your points and opinions, but here is where I do not agree with you. I do not think you shouldn't completely disrespect someone just because they do not agree with you, but I can see where your argument has its strong points. And I also agree with Pat, you are not giving respect. You have to earn respect.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. Just something simple can help anyone threw the day. And like you said no one wants to wake up to a frown in the morning especially if they're having a bad day you can help them get threw there and motivate them to be happy.
DeleteTo me respect is very important. The definition for respect in the dictionary is a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. It is shown by doing things for someone without being told and shaking their hand and saying hello and good bye. I respect people because if they don't have a problem with me I don't have a problem with them, but if they have a problem with me for no reason then I have no respect to them. I think respect is like the golden rule "Treat others as you would like to be treated" because no one likes feeling bad about themselves. I think everyone deserves respect because if you don't respect them on like a first impression when your meeting someone they will think you are very rude. But I think respect is very important in todays world.
ReplyDeleteRespect is very important, its the way that you treat people and the way the will treat you. If you give someone respect they will most likely give you respect back. Its almost like the treat someone the way you want to be treated saying. You can give someone respect by simply giving they a handshake to greet them or even asking them how they are doing. You want to treat people good so they dont judge you and so they know that your a good person. You also have to earn the respect by being nice and respecting them because some people will just be very respectful and respect everyone. But not everyone is like that, Some people will not give anyone any respect so you need to earn it.
