This quote, "Beauty is whatever gives you joy" has a lot of different meanings. This quote has a lot of different meaning because a lot of people have joy for a lot of things. For example, people have family and friends that enjoy. Other people enjoy their job and what they earn and have. I give joy to my family and friends. I love them very much and appreciate them. I don't know what I do without them. Also, I give joy that I have food on my plate and for what I have. I am very thankful.
"Beauty is whatever gives joy." True words said by Edna St. Vincent Millay. I think this means something only has true beauty when you really love something or when something gives you joy. If you were to dislike something, you definitely would not say it has beauty. I think a good example of this could be what people call "true love." When people think of true love, they think of beauty on the inside and outside. The spouses in a couple should give each other joy and that is how they should find beauty in them. Something that gives me joy is my family, friends, and music. My family and friends give me joy because they love me for who I am. I do not have to pretend to be someone that I am not when I am around them. They also help me through all and any of my problems. Music gives me joy because if I am mad or upset, it can help me get my emotions out and I can relate to a lot of songs, so that is what gives me joy. Maybe after reading this, you will feel the same way!

There are a handful amount of things that make me happy and give me joy, but football definitely tops them all. Every football game I play, no matter if we lose or win, im always happy in the end.

The question is what gives me joy? Pete Carter is the answer. The reason to this is because i knew him since i was a baby, he's a performer,filmer,special fx makeup artist, impersonater, etc. I always looked up to him when it comes to dancing, special affects, etc. His performances bring so much joy to me I am constantly happy when i am around him. Although I am very close with him now I still look up to him as much as I did when i was a baby. He brings me joy so what brings you joy ?

I'm not going to beat on this quote, but I want to say I can relate to this quote because without joy, or laughter, or happiness we'd be robots. My friends in general not only helped me through tough times, but I've also helped, and I can't exactly explain what the emotion or feeling is to have friends or people who you know would look out for you. My family is really great. When we were writing our rough drafts I wrote about when my dad was diagnosed with cancer. Of course I was sad, and I was full of negative emotion, but although my dad was diagnosed with cancer he is still a happy person, and that goes all back to all of us. It's almost like a cycle, Us as a family make him happy, just like how he makes us all happy. So what gives me joy? basically anything that makes another person happy. I love to see people happy and smiling. I like how much care my family and friends give me and I give back because I know they always have my back.

When i step on to the field my entire mind set changes from stress from the day to a clear pure happy mind. All I focus on is winning but my team does it by being clear and free of pressure. We are always joking around and have a limit on our fooling around.

This also reminds me of the quote beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Its whatever you think is right dont listen to anyone besides your heart. Do something today that someone will do tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThe quote “Beauty is whatever gives joy.” is valid. I think this because if you think of it the other way around whatever makes you joyful is beautiful. If you are happy then something should be beautiful. If the sun is shining and it is warm outside then it is considered beautiful. Everyone is usually happy on a day like that. They are usually all in a good mood. What gives me joy is when it is a beautiful day and I get to play outside with my friends. This gives me joy because it is not too hot and not too cold.
ReplyDeleteThe quote "beauty is whatever gives you joy" has many different meanings. It could mean that everything that makes you happy is always beautiful. It does not necessarily have to be beautiful but it may be beautiful of the inside. What gives me joy is being around my friends and family. They will always know how to cheer you up when your upset. Also, dancing always makes me feel better. I get to go and have fun with my friends. That quote could mean many different things to all different people.
ReplyDeleteThe quote" beauty is whatever u joy"is a deep quote. With lots of meaning it can be interpreted in many ways. The way I interpret this quote is that if your are happy and appreciate something then to you it is beautiful. Something that is beautiful to me is baseball. When i step on to the field my entire mind set changes from stress from the day to a clear pure happy mind. All I focus on is winning but my team does it by being clear and free of pressure. We are always joking around and have a limit on our fooling around.
